{"id":335,"date":"2017-04-22T22:11:59","date_gmt":"2017-04-23T05:11:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/muddyvalleyfarm.com\/?p=335"},"modified":"2017-04-22T22:11:59","modified_gmt":"2017-04-23T05:11:59","slug":"more-new-chicks","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thestablecomicstore.com\/?p=335","title":{"rendered":"More New Chicks!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Now that the preorders are filled and next year&#8217;s hens started, it&#8217;s time to have fun with new breeds and lines.<\/p>\n<p>Cream Legbars, Blue Laced Red Wyandottes and a rainbow of Silkies popped out this week, and some olive eggers are hatching as I write.<\/p>\n<p>Both the olive eggers and the Legbars are sexable at hatch, which is nice for those who can&#8217;t have roosters (aka most people). We&#8217;ll sell the olive eggers, but keep the four little Legbar pullets, because their eggs will be next year&#8217;s olive\u00a0eggers.<\/p>\n<p>One incubator has been mothballed, and the second will be offline soon.
